HEALTH OCCUPATIONS

Our courses provide students with the skills necessary to seek entry-level employment or open a small business. All courses include both theory and hands-on experience.

Oswego County BOCES offers several courses in the Health Occupations field for adult learners.

Practical Nursing is offered twice a year to accommodate daytime and nighttime students.

Dental Assisting and Medical Assisting Courses are offered during the daytime.

Certified Nurse Assistant programs are offered on a varying schedule as demand dictates.

Medical Billing, Medical Transcription/Records, Phlebotomy, and Infection Control courses are short-term medically related courses that are offered evenings throughout the year.

Following is an abbreviated schedule of Health Occupation Courses. For a full description of the course and a download for an application please click on the title in the left-hand panel.
