The Oswego County BOCES Adult and Continuing Education Department serves adults of the area who are in need of training and education because of displacement or the need for continued education for the purpose of advancement and/or interest in a new career.  This department also offers courses for self enjoyment or fulfillment and is prepared to partner with business and industry to create training programs that will build skills and attitudes.

If you need assistance with career planning The Vocational Evaluation/Assessment Service is available.

If you are searching for a new career you will find class offerings in the Health Occupations and Evening Career Programs.

If you are an adult seeking to earn your GED, Adult and Continuing Education offers Adult Basic Education (ABE)/GED preparation classes in various locations through out the county. Please call 963-4256 for more information.

Perhaps you would like to fulfill a life ambition or expand your knowledge regarding a hobby or life skill.

Business/Industry

The Adult and Continuing Education Department also provides programs to local business and industry through the Industrial Training Service. These programs are tailored to the specific training needs of each business to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Trades/Unions

Oswego BOCES is also the Designated Local Educational Agency (DLEA) for individuals enrolled in an authorized NYS Apprenticeship within Oswego County.
