Higher Standards - Greater Learning Opportunities - Success

Who Are We?

  • Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Services (APPS) - Teen Health Issues Educators provide confidential one-on-one and small group education and counseling to teens in Oswego County.
  • Community Education - 5hr Pre-Licensing, 6hr Defensive Driving, Drinking Driver Program (DDP), Driver Education and Summer Time On Campus.
  • Academic Intervention Services (AIS) - Offer AIS services to students in grades 3-12, both during the summer and at the BOCES main campus during the school year.
  • Multi Occupations - Provides an exploration of different vocational modules either 26 days or 10 weeks for non-disabled students between 14 and 16 years of age.
  • Academic Summer School - Provides remedial and enrichment classes for students in grades 3-12 during the summer.
  • Migrant Education - Serves children in the five county region including Oswego, Jefferson, Lewis, Onondaga and Madison counties. Children are eligible if they or their parent/guardian has moved across school district lines to take a job in agriculture.
  • GED - A full day program, which includes one-half day of GED Preparation Classes and one-half day of Career and Technical Education or work study experience.
  • Families Accessing Naturalization Services (FANS) - Provides citizenship services for eligible immigrants (legal permanent residents).
