Program Description: A computer network specialist helps design and run the computer systems that link computer users locally, nationally, and internationally. Network adjustments, maintenance, security and recovery are tasks that individuals in this career area may be expected to perform. The Cisco networking course prepares the student to earn Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) certification and selected Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam modules. Employment opportunities are expected to be good for students who continue to develop skills and earn certifications after their initial coursework.
