Program Description: Students considering careers as early childhood educators, teacher assistants, or day-care providers may enroll in this course to help prepare them for work in a variety of child-care settings. Theory, observation, and practical experiences are gained in the classroom and in pre-school, elementary, and special education settings. Students will write lesson plans, learn how to keep accurate records, and interact with children and adults throughout the year.
