Program Description: The curriculum is designed to provide students with hands-on experience and information regarding numerous law careers that require post-secondary education. Students will acquire knowledge through independent study, cooperative learning, and performance-based learning. Students will earn two Law and Government elective credits and honors-level Social Studies 12 and English 12 credits. Students also have the opportunity to earn up to six college credits through Onondaga Community College and six credits through Cayuga Community College. Students are required to adhere to strict standards regarding confidentiality and professional behavior. The course is held at the Public Justice Center in Oswego. Two days a week will be spent in law and government rotations, with the remaining three days in a classroom setting.
