Numerous job opportunities will be available for certified electricians in the future. Work typically involves the installation, connection, testing and maintenance of electrical systems for both residential and commercial industries. Electricians must be familiar with and comply with various local, state and national codes. This course will help students develop skills that prepare them for an apprenticeship, further training or entry-level employment. The course has also been approved by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and provides students with the opportunity to complete basic apprenticeship modules.
