People working in this field use technical knowledge and skill to assemble, inspect, design, maintain and repair. They provide scientific and diagnostic skills to maintain and repair computer equipment, aircraft, automobiles, buildings, roads, bridges, and manufacturing machinery.
Some examples of careers are: Engineering, aviation, architecture, automotive, machining, welding, construction computers, electronics, manufacturing.
Mike Brown and Matt Kline currently with the Shore Group, a highly ranked networking company headquartered in New York City with a branch office in Syracuse, Mike (2004) and Matt (2002) are alumni of Oswego County BOCES' Computer Systems and Networking - CISCO class.
"The classes provided here are like college courses," said Kline, "I went to OCC (for additional certification) and had to pay for those classes. Students go here for free."
Mike was hired by Shore Group right out of high school. Shore Group now employs four graduates of the CISCO class from Oswego county BOCES. |
