Nursing Assistant This career area projects excellent job opportunities in hospitals, home healthcare services and nursing home facilities. Nursing assistants perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, patient observation and helping patients eat, dress and bathe. Aides have frequent contact with residents, so individuals considering this profession should possess good communication skills.
