| Cultural Tourism Initiative Program |
The Cultural Tourism Initiative Program seeks to provide a link between the cultural community and the state and regional tourism efforts in order to expand and enhance the use of tourism in the creation, presentation and promotion of the arts and cultural heritage in New York State. Annually, funding is awarded to partnership-based projects designed to attract new visitors, stimulate local economies, generate new jobs and create renewed recognition in the value of the arts and cultural heritage of local communities. This grant program provides up to $25,000 per project based on a one-to-one cash match. Eligible lead applicants must meet certain criteria outlined in the guidelines. Each proposal must also include a primary tourism partner as defined in the guidelines. Additional project partners are encouraged and not limited to any set characteristics.

| NYSCA Sites Re-Seen |
The Museum Program of the New York State Council on the Arts announces that applications are being accepted for "Sites Re-Seen." This initiative fosters collaboration between professional artists and historic house museums/historic sites in New York State. The applicant must be the historic house museum, but any grant award must be used only for the artists’ fees. "Sites Re-Seen" welcomes proposals from artists in all media disciplines.

| Saltonstall Foundation For The Arts Grants |
The Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts annually awards grants of $5,000 to writers and artists who live in the central and western counties of New York (see www.saltonstall.org for list of eligible counties). Grant categories change annually. 2006 Grant Categories include poetry, creative nonfiction, works on paper (printmaking, drawing, painting, collage and other two dimensional media on paper excluding computer generated images), and photography. | Technical Assistance Program Grants |
Partners for Arts Education offers Technical Assistance Program grants to provide support for projects that develop, enhance, and/or evaluate arts education programs benefiting children pre-K to 12th grade. The grant is for projects that involve planning, professional development, evaluation and sustainability. Awards range from $100 to $1,000. NYS schools, school districts, and non-profit cultural organizations, and NYS teaching artists are eligible to apply.
