Arts-In-Education Funding   Grant Details Website Arts in Education Model Development and Dissemination Grants Program Designed to enable local education agencies and organizations with art expertise to further create and develop materials for the replication or adaptation of current comprehensive approaches for integrating a range of arts disciplines--such as music, dance, theater, and visual arts, including folk arts--into the elementary and middle school curricula. art$TART art$TART grants of up to $2500 are for all public & private pre-K thru 12 schools in Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Onondaga, Oswego, and St. Lawrence counties. Up to $2,500 Association of Performing Arts Presenters Arts Presenters knows how vital grants are to our members. With this in mind, Arts Presenters will continue to update their site with funding opportunities and developments in philanthropy that affect the field. Cultural Tourism Initiative Program The Cultural Tourism Initiative Program seeks to provide a link between the cultural community and the state and regional tourism efforts in order to expand and enhance the use of tourism in the creation, presentation and promotion of the arts and cultural heritage in New York State. Annually, funding is awarded to partnership-based projects designed to attract new visitors, stimulate local economies, generate new jobs and create renewed recognition in the value of the arts and cultural heritage of local communities. This grant program provides up to $25,000 per project based on a one-to-one cash match. Eligible lead applicants must meet certain criteria outlined in the guidelines. Each proposal must also include a primary tourism partner as defined in the guidelines. Additional project partners are encouraged and not limited to any set characteristics. Up to $25,000 NYSCA Sites Re-Seen The Museum Program of the New York State Council on the Arts announces that applications are being accepted for "Sites Re-Seen." This initiative fosters collaboration between professional artists and historic house museums/historic sites in New York State. The applicant must be the historic house museum, but any grant award must be used only for the artists’ fees. "Sites Re-Seen" welcomes proposals from artists in all media disciplines. Oswego County Teacher Center Awards will be made in amounts not to exceed $600.  Monies are to be used to offset project expenses such as consultant services, teacher stipends, supplies or materials (monies can not be used to purchase equipment), peer review expenses. Only Available to Oswego County Schools. Up to $600 Poets and Writers Pays fees to writers giving readings or conducting workshops in New York State. Outside school hours. Professional Development for Arts Educators Designed for K-12 arts teachers, programs must focus on: the development, enhancement, or expansion of standards-based arts education programs; or the integration of arts instruction into other subject area content. Saltonstall Foundation For The Arts Grants The Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts annually awards grants of $5,000 to writers and artists who live in the central and western counties of New York (see www.saltonstall.org for list of eligible counties). Up to $10,000 Target Art and Reading Grants Target can help your school or nonprofit further with a grant. Receiving a grant from Target is unique in that it begins and ends at the store level. These grants focus on arts and reading programs. $1,000-$3,000 Technical Assistance Program Grants Partners for Arts Education offers Technical Assistance Program grants to provide support for projects that develop, enhance, and/or evaluate arts education programs benefiting children pre-K to 12th grade. The grant is for projects that involve planning, professional development, evaluation and sustainability. Awards range from $100 to $1,000.
