Foreign Language Immersion Program! Looking for something special and challenging for your gifted Foreign Language students? Want to increase their verbal skills? Why not send them to F.L.I.P....The Oswego BOCES Foreign Language Immersion Program. This one-week summer residential program is designed for high school language students who have completed at least level 2, or a level 1 honors program. Students live the language for 24 hours a day for one week, while staying in a college dormitory. The students attend classes, participate in sports, hands-on projects, and other activities under the supervision of master teachers certified in the specific foreign language offered. The following programs will be offered at the designated locations during the summer of 2005: French at LeMoyne College Sunday, July 20 through Saturday, July 26, 2008 (tentative.) Spanish at Oswego State University - July 13 - 19, 2008. 1. The student's school district typically pays the student fee for the one-week session ($795.00 per student). This aidable fee includes all aspects of the program except food & lodging. 2. Each student pays a room and board fee - $280.
