Structured on our MS-SQL server solution, a vast collection of information is available through our Enterprise Data System (EDS). As we consolidate our organization-wide information, the EDS provides ever-increasing efficiency for recording and using the information required by groups throughout BOCES. |

The BOCES network is constantly monitored by our team using a variety of solutions. This enables us to respond immediately to any unique circumstances that might jeopardize the network or which might leave BOCES personnel without the tools necessary to do their work. |

BOCES employees obtain their Internet connectivity as a result of the on-going activities and infrastructure support of the Instructional Technology team. Our servers, gateways, firewalls, switches, cabling, and wireless infrastructure assure connectivity for all devices. 24/7 monitoring, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting has assured a nearly 100% uptime for our system. Occasional disruptions in service through the past year have been directly related to connections outside our network (and our control). We also interface with outside vendors to resolve any issues. |

Electronic mail accounts are available for all BOCES employees, with access provided using Microsoft Outlook, or the BOCES web site. Our email system also provides regular back-up of all your important electronic mail information. |

Several network storage locations are provided for the use of BOCES personnel and students. Departmental, instructional, and personal volumes are all available and afford nearly limitless storage capacity for your work. Daily data backups are conducted by the team and information is archived to facilitate restoration of information if necessary. |

Recently developed, the BOCES Student Attendance System tracks our student attendance according to the requirements set forth by the NYS Education Department and the BOCES Board of Education. |

The RMS is available on the right-side of the BOCES web site and facilitates the reservation of a variety of resources. Currently, these resources include a variety of technologies, the computer training room in W430a, and the mobile computer lab. Additional resources and facilities will be available through this tool soon. |
