The Oswego BOCES School Library System, established by Commissioner's Regulations in 1985, is a state funded program which supports the instructional program and informational needs of the students and professional staff in the nine school districts in Oswego County.
The vision of the School Library System (SLS) is to empower all School Library Media Specialist (SLMS) to be recognized as instructional and information experts in their schools. As educational leaders, School Library Media Specialists provide unique services that support the learning process of students, teachers, and staff.
