Research And Data Informing Instruction, Curriculum, Assessment & Leadership

Our mission is to support the process of staff development and school improvement by creating learning opportunities for educators resulting in the implementation of effective instructional strategies leading to improved student achievement.

NYS Assessment and Data

  • Item analysis reports with comparative benchmarks for ELA-4, Math-4, ELA-8, Math-8, social studies and science (subject to COGNOS cube development @ RIC) assessments.
  • Narrative description of item analysis including recommendations for future professional development.
  • Item analysis reports with comparative benchmarks for Regents exams, as scanning is implemented by RIC
  • County wide summaries of School Report Card Data in presentation quality format, including subgroup performance
  • Support for data access and analysis using available tools (COGNOS, SIS Web, Data Mentor, Excel, SPSS, Arc GIS)
  • DATAG (NYS Data Analysis Technical Analysis Group) Representation
  • Data Steering Committee Participation
  • SIS Advisory Representation
  • Scoring Leader and Table Facilitator Training (ELA & Math)
  • Gap Analysis Participation*
  • Analysis of results from Gap Analysis including recommendations for future professional development.

 

School Imporvement Services

  • Staff service for your district including telephone support (off-site consultation)
  • Workshops provided by RADI2CAL staff
  • Curriculum & Instruction Council participation
  • S/CDN (Staff & Curriculum Development Network) representation
  • Curriculum Networks focusing on High School Reform
  • Coordiantion of School Improvement activities
  • Facilitation of faculty meetings & topic overviews as requested
  • In - district support of Professional Development initiatives
  • Ongoing support and visitations with district staff

 

In addition to the above, your district will be able to:

Serviecs with additional charges (per diem rate: $828)

  • Custom workshops upon request
