Occupational Education Resource/Consultant Teacher Services is a Special Education service provided to students with special needs attending classes at the Burton Ramer Technical Career Center.
Services are provided, through a recommendation on the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP), made by the Committee on Special Education (CSE). This service is in addition to resource services received at the home school and is listed as Occ. Ed. Resource on the student's IEP. Occupational Education Resource/Consultant Teacher Services is primarily a "push-in" service.
Services may include:
- Administration of testing modifications/accomodations
- Notetaking
- Study Skills
- Assistance on classroom assignments
- Supplemental instruction of classroom material
- Remediation
- Employment Skills instruction
- Contact with home school teachers and counselors
